The SilkRoad Dancers is founded by a group of Chinese-Folk-Dance enthusiasts in San Diego. Members from this organization come from all walks of life as scientists, physicians, business managers, and entrepreneurs, all sharing a deep appreciation in Chinese folk dances.  More importantly, the fabric of this organization lies with the common goal of promoting this art form to the community - usually achieving this by their performances in leading the audience through an unforgettable cultural journey.
Over the years, we have been invited to many cultural events and celebrations as well as community services, such as the Nations Dance Festivals, House of China celebrations of various Chinese holidays, American Chinese Culture and Education Foundation (ACCEF) holiday

Tango Group

Tango With Colette PERFORMANCE GROUP

When Tango Master Colette Hebert, winner of the 2003 USA Tango Championship and finalist in 2005 of the "Tango Salon" competition in Buenos Aires, the ultimate Tango World Competition (the "Mundiales"), return to the USA, she could not foresee how fate would land her, softly but inevitably, in San Diego, where she would start a new life.
Since her arrival, she has had only one aim in mind: to bring to San Diego the most authentic and pure expression of the Argentine Tango dance, teaching to her students in exquisite detail its incredible emotional and technical demands.
To say that she has been able to see already the fruits of so much effort and energy put into it is an understatement.
As early as 2009 she started to take special care of a dedicated group of "special" students, who, going beyond the usual requests to learn from Colette the social side of the dance, wanted rather to explore the totally different and technically intimidating "stage" variety.
Tango With Colette PERFORMANCE GROUP, was born then and it has never looked back. Every month, more and more organizations, business meetings,
City of San Diego events, and even Emmy Awards ceremonies, to mention a few, ask to share with their audiences the breath-taking excitement of this TwC Performance Group, who deliver Tango in an almost addictive manner.
Welcome, sit back and enjoy the art, the passion and the intricate beauty of Tango!

Philippine Dancers

PASACAT is a Philippine folk dance, but in San Diego, it began as the acronym for the Philippine-American Society and Cultural Arts Troupe.  Today, PASACAT’s mission is to preserve and promote the Asian Pacific culture through the arts, thereby, extending goodwill and enhancing cultural understanding.

PASACAT's roots began on September 7, 1969, during a salute to San Diego's 200th Anniversary by the Filipino-American Community Association of San Diego County and House of the Philippines,  The enthusiasm from the three-hour tribute was tremendous, as was the response to continue Philippine folk dancing.  In November, 1970, PASACAT became the first formally organized Philippine Dance Company in San Diego.

PASACAT has garnered rave reviews for its artistry and world-wide recognition after being featured on CNN's Inside Asia for bringing the class-room on the dance floor. PASACAT will perform a traditional dance program which reflects the history, geography and diverse cultures of the 7,107 island republic.
